Commiserations to the Fred Daly team who were beaten 3 1/2 1 1/2 in the Plaque on Saturday in Cregmore. The team was Ross Kelly, Jack Davin , Dara Cunningham,Donal Cunningham and Stephen Spelman.The standard of golf was very high and all the matches were played in a very sporting manner. .
Congratulations to the Mary Mckenna team on winning the first leg of their match against Mountbellew. The ladies foursomes and Revive Active fourball teams are in action this weekend. Good luck to all concerned.

The Club Matchplay entry sheets are hanging in the hall. The draws for the singles, fourballs, foursomes and mixed will be made on May 12th.

There will be an information meeting in the clubhouse on Wednesday May 3rd @ 8pm for men, ladies and juniors interested in starting or restarting the game of golf.

The management committee have announced that Mark Kinnevey will be starting as head green keeper on May 22nd. He is currently working in Galway Bay Golf Club Dermot Casserly has had to step down from the role due to family commitments but he will remain on a part time basis. The course is certainly shaping up well at the moment so we look forward to the continuation of the good work.
