The Rustic Vaults sponsored the inaugural Street League was held on Bank Holiday Monday and it certainly was a great success with Galway Road getting their name on the trophy first.

There will be a fun scramble this Friday 12th May with draws from 5 to 6.30. This is a fun and sociable way for beginners and new members to play golf. The presentations for the past few weeks competitions will be at 9pm

The first leg of the 2 person scramble V Ballinrobe starts this Thursday 11th in Ballinrobe. Have you your name down? The return match will be on the 18th in Tuam. You can play on both days or just in one

Members are urged to use the BRS time sheet for the Wednesday open. We are aware that visitors are not travelling for our open day as when they look at the time sheet it is often blank. The BRS timesheet if used properly is a great way for those without regular partners to play and meet new golfers so please ..use it.

Ladies : the committee have decided to start a 9 hole qualifying competition on a trial basis. It will start on Sunday 21st May. There will be time slots allotted on the time sheet for this competition. This is chiefly aimed at beginners and ladies who have haven’t the time or energy to play 18 holes.

There will be a meeting in the clubhouse for all the juniors wanting to play golf on Tuesday May 16th @ 7.30pm. Due to new child protection regulations it is extremely important that partents/guardians attend. This will be followed at 8.30 with an information session for ladies thinking about playing the game.
