There was no winner of our lotto last week. Next weeks lotto is an amazing 15,900 euro. Numbers drawn were 14, 17, 29 and 31. Congratulations to Kevin Fallon, John Treacy and Jim Byrne who were the lucky dip winners.

Our Captains and President are gearing up for what will be a fantastic drive in on Sunday 25th March, 2018 at 1 pm. We will have a shotgun start. Please enter your name on timesheet on notice board. Draw will take place on Thursday 22nd March.

The weekend’s 14 hole competition was won by PAT QUINLAN (22) with 32 pts (b/d). The first 18-hole competition of the season is on this coming weekend and is being played over Saturday ,Sunday and Monday. The following weekend (March 25) will be the captains’ drive-in which will be a 9-hole scramble. The entry sheet for this competition is on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.

Saturday Club
There was a modest turnout last weekend but there was still very respectable scoring for the 11 hole competition. There has been extensive sanding of the greens but in fairness conditions were very favourable.

The winners of the draw for bottles were Michael Casserly and Gerry Murphy.
As there is an open competition in the club this St Patrick’s weekend, there will be no Saturday Club but it will resume on Saturday, March 24. There will be another Saturday Club on March 31 and then we will have our ‘away’ outing to Galway Bay Golf and Country Club. The timesheet for this outing is available in the pro shop.
Members of the Saturday Club are asked to get on the timesheet as soon as possible. The cost is €50 which includes competition, open competition at the club, meal after golf along with hot snack on the 10th hole. There will be prizes for all who participate.

Ladies our last weekend of the spring league will be played over the bank holiday.

Subs are now due. Office opening hours Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm.
