Congratulations to Darragh Cunningham, Donal Cunningham, Jack Davin & Ross Kelly on their performance in the Connacht U18 Junior Foursomes during the week. 17 teams entered and Tuam were one of the top 4 teams that qualified for the semi final. They were beaten by Athenry, who then went on to win the final.
This week is a busy one for all our junior golfers :
Ross Kelly has been selected to line up for Ireland in the Boys Home Internationals being played in the UK, we wish him the very best of luck.
On Thursday 10th, the Connacht U16 s is being played in Mountbellew. ( Alan Banks, Mark Colleran, Eanna Costello, Rory Donnellan and Ciaran McGrath) and the Kenny Cup final is being played in Galway Bay GC on Friday 11th @ 11am. David Banks, Darragh Cunningham and Jack Davin will be representing the club. Best of luck to both teams.
Our junior golfers are doing very well this year under the guidance of Gerry Fahy and Tomas Niland.
Had no luck at the races last week ? Why not do the Tuam Golf Club LOTTO. It is now €12,800. Contact any member for an envelope, 1 bet for €2. 3 bets €5… probably far better odds than a horse for that kind of prize fund. Last weeks lucky dip winners were Pat Gilmore, Mary O Neill and Berni Kilcullen.
