The past few days have been extremely busy in the club, On Wednesday there was a Greenkeepers Golf Society and they all complimented our greenkeeper, Mark and his team, on the wonderful condition of the greens.

Ladies Gala Day kindly sponsored again this year by Feelys Total Health Pharmacy was also played on Wednesday and there was a great turnout from neighbouring clubs.

The ladies have postponed their competition due to the all Ireland finals being played this weekend.

Well done to the ladies on the Mary McKenna Diamond team playing in Woodenbridge. Overall winners Royal Tara beat Tuam on the Saturday and then Tuam beat Thurles on Sunday to finish in 3rd position. This is the second year that Tuam have reached the final stages so maybe next year they will be in the actual final?
