The adverse weather at the weekend resulted in the postponement of the club AGM . It will now be held on Sunday 17th @ 7pm. There are a number of important items for discussion so a good turnout is important.

A copy of the report compiled by Niall Kilgallon, Confederation of Golf in Ireland (CGI) is being sent out via email. Copies are available from the office. This is an overview of the club, governance, operations, finance, staff, membership and more. Members are encouraged to read the detailed document.

Saturday Club
There was a healthy turnout for the Saturday Club given the fact that we were short a few members who were playing in the Senior Alliance in Connemara. Result: 1, Martin Murphy (14) 29, 2, John Ger Davin (14) 29; 3. Johnny Kelly (11) 27; 4, Michael Casserly (15) 26.
The ‘bottles’ outing takes place this coming Saturday and all members are invited to participate in the event. Members are requested to remain for the presentation of prizes. It is one of the two major events of the Saturday Club and an away outing is also being planned for the New Year.

The LOTTO has yet to be won. It will be €14,600 on Wednesday. Play for €2 a week or join for €100 a year. The lucky dip winners were Frank Parsons, Joseph Ryan and Padraig Monaghan. Contact any member about joining.. Are you a member……. you cant win if you are not in.
