There was no winner of the lotto last week. Next weeks lotto is a whopping 15,700 euro. Numbers drawn were 2, 5, 7 and 23. Congratulations to Charlie O Brien, Eileen Coyne and David Burns who were our lucky dip winners.

Ladies our spring league is still going until the drive in.

The weekend’s competition was won by LOUIS CONWAY (16) with 29 points for the twelve holes (including a tap in birdie at the par three eleventh). Next weekend’s comp. will be 14 holes (1-4 and 9-18). The first 18-hole competition will be run over St. Patrick’s weekend.

Saturday Club
The Saturday Club had almost 30 members playing despite the distraction of the rugby and the fact that some of our members were playing in Paul Leufer’s Connacht Senior Alliance outing in Connemara.
Not for the first time, Martin Murphy emerged the winner with 31 points for 12 holes and despite carrying four penalty points, he still had plenty to spare over the chasing pack.
Result: 1, Martin Murphy (14) 27; 2, Tom Gohery (13) 25; 3, PJ Murphy (21) 24; 4, John Ger Davin (11) 24.
Members of the Saturday Club are reminded that the ‘away’ outing to Galway Bay Golf and Country Club takes place on Saturday, April 7 and the timesheet is currently available in the pro shop. The outing, which includes 18 holes golf, open competition within the club, snack on the 10th tee and full meal afterwards costs €50. We are encouraging as many members as possible to participate.
