Meanwhile the club matchplays are now in full swing with Rory Donnellan continuing his fine form with a facile win over Mark Colleran, while Rory’s father Aidan beat Kenny Fahy keeping alive a potential father versus son clash later on. Mark Curley and Vincent Ryder didn’t fare very well in their four all match and rumour has it Vincent is already looking for a new partner for next year.
