Mens results 28/05/23
This weekend’s competition was the PJ Melia Memorial. Thanks to Patrick, PJ’s son, for the wonderful table of prizes on display in the clubhouse. Just like last weekend it was very close at the top with only one point separating the top six players. Our winner is Jason Coyne (17) with 42 points. Jason wins on the breakdown from Kevin Tighe (17). Third, on 41, is Michael Barrett (15) ,who also wins nearest the pin on the 5th. Fourth is Seamus Treacy (22) and fifth is Paddy Darcy both with 41 points.
1st gross goes to Morgan Lynch (2) and 2nd gross goes to his playing companion Peter Ryan (3).

Next weekend we have two open competitions. From Friday to Sunday is the Hardiman Life & Pensions sponsored tourney while on the bank holiday Monday we have the Scratch Cups.

Finally, we are back to “proper golf” as it is “play as it lies” from Monday 29/5/23.
