Mens results 6/8/23.
We had a big entry for the last of our open week competitions (sponsored by Joe Leufer & Sons) and many of the visitors were very impressed with the course and its condition.
We had three players on 40 points and Michael Kelly (25) is the overall winner, on a breakdown.

17-23: Michael Brannelly 38 pts…. breakdown.
24+: Jerry Desmond 40 pts.

Our Wednesday Open continues this week and finishes at the end of August.

Captain’s Prize
This coming weekend is the big one, the Captain’s Prize. It’s 27 holes strokeplay and the top 27 players qualify for the final nine holes. There will be a shotgun start at 4:30 for the final nine with the prize-giving immediately afterwards.

Saturday Club
It’s that time of year again and Saturday Club at Tuam Golf Club will recommence on September 30 under the Captaincy of John Ger Davin. An away trip is currently being organises and it is hoped that the weather will be accommodating.

LOTTO
There were no winners of our lotto jackpot worth €4,000. Numbers drawn were 7, 15, 30, 31. Congratulations to Maureen Donnelly who was our lucky dip winner.
