Mens results 15/10/23.
The good weather ensured a large entry for our weekend competition kindly sponsored by Stapleton’s Expert Electrical. Both Niall Smith (29) and Tom Kelly (25) had 4 points but Niall wins with a back nine of 24 points. Third is Fergus Ryan (13) on 40 points. Fergus did the front nine in one over (for 23 points) but a blank on the tenth is doing a lot of damage…. Fourth, on 39 points (breakdown), is Frank Clancy (29). Blanks on the 4th and 17th his undoing. Our gross winner, on 39 gross points, is Joe Muĺlally (10)….a birdie on 15 was the highlight of his round.
In other news…. the entry sheet for our winter league is now up in the locker-room. The teams will be picked on November 5th (based on handicaps) and round 1 starts on weekend of November 10th.
Finally, for the October bank holiday weekend we are having a team of three competition where you play your own ball and two scores to count on each hole.
