Despite all the sport on at the weekend the gents had a great entry for the popular Luke o Brien Shoes sponsored V PAR competition. Our overall winner, on 6 up, is Pearse o Donoghue (17)…. on a breakdown. The category winners are: 0-9: Joe Mullally (9) 5 up 10-16: Sean Doyle (16) 5 up. 17-22: Rory o Connor (18) with 6 up. 23+: Tom Noone (23) 4 up.

Next weekend, the majority of Sunday’s timesheet is reserved for the ladies captain’s prize… when hopefully the weather will be kind to Margaret and all the participants.
