Result of this weekend’s gent’s 14-hole competition, which incorporated Winter League Rd. 1: 1st: Richie Molloy (27) 35pts 2nd: Ger Keane (18) 35pts 3rd: Bernard Brady (23) 33pts. Gross: Patrick Togher (5) 27pts b/d Next weekend’s competition will again be over 14 holes and prizes will be determined by categories. Bunkers: we are keeping the bunkers in play for the winter. From today, you can Mark, Rake, Place, Play, and tidy up.

Saturday Club
There was a good attendance at the Saturday Club outing at Tuam Golf Club with Michael Cullen, a new member, winning with an impressive 34 points for 14 holes and he defeated the Captain Mick Barrett on the breakdown.
Result (14 holes): 1st Michael Cullen 34pts; 2nd Mick Barrett 34pts; 3rd Joe Waters 30pts. Bottles: Niall Pierce, Michael O’Connell, Luke Tighe.
The Christmas ‘bottles’ outing will take place on Saturday, December 14 and it is being organised in conjunction with a light meal being provided by Julie in the bar.

Goats Golf
The retired members had a great turnout during the week and the scoring was impressive. Result (14 holes): 1st Jimmy Meehan (35) 36pts; 2nd Gerry Murphy (39) 33pts; 3rd Mick Barrett (22) 32pts; 4th Pat Casey (32) 32pts. Frank greely had a two point at the seventh and the sponsor was Michael
Casserly.

Lotto
There were no winners of our lotto jackpot worth €10,700. Numbers drawn were 1, 5, 29, 31. Congratulations to Kevin O Sullivan who was our lucky dip winner.
