Tyrells Insurances and Auctioneers kindly sponsored this weekend’s competition and in glorious autumn sunshine Gerry Donnellan prevailed by a point from Pat Quinlan and Peter J Ryan.

Next weekend there will be TWO 18 HOLE competitions, sponsored by Johnny Ryan Photography and GalwayHooper Dolan respectively, one competition on Fri/Sat and the other on Sun/Mon.

The WINTER LEAGUE entry sheet in up in the clubhouse and is filling up nicely. It will start on the weekend ending 10 of November.

Saturday Club:
We had a relatively small gathering for the first Saturday Club outing at Tuam Golf club of the season under the captaincy of Gerry Murphy. However, a lot of the regular golfers were away in sunnier climes. Sean Byrnes was the sole winner of the 11-home competition with 24 points which just pipped Jarlath Crisham and Jerry Desmond.

There was no winner of our lotto jackpot worth 5,600 euro. Numbers drawn were 8, 13, 18, 21. Congratulations to our Captain Rae Gilmore who was our match 3 winner.
