Competition Results
A large crowd played this weekend despite the late opening of the course. Scoring was impressive in the fine conditions. Mike Fannon (20) claimed his maiden victory with 34 pts, winning by one from Mark Kerrisk (11) who went round in two over par. And, finally making the podium, in third place, (having had lots of near misses) was David Heneghan (24) with 31 pts, on a b/d.

This coming Sunday we have the CAPTAINS’ DRIVE-IN starting at the revised time of 1:00 pm (shotgun start) You can enter from between 12 and 12:45. There is also a singles competition for gents running from Friday til Sunday morning.

Saturday Club
There was a great turnout for the Saturday Club outing last weekend at Tuam Golf Club given the gorgeous conditions.
Result (13 holes): 1st Declan Tierney (27) 33pts; 2nd PJ Murphy (23) 31pts; 3rd Seamus Treacy (19) 29pts; 4thGerry Murphy (29) 28pts.
The ‘away’ outing to Woodstock Golf Club near Ennis takes place on Saturday, March 19 and those interested in playing are asked to please contact Captain Mark Curley on 086-2624668 for the timesheet which runs from 10am to 11.30am.

LOTTO
There were no winners of our lotto jackpot worth 18,000. Numbers drawn were 4, 6, 20, 27.
