This weekend’s competition produced another photo finish as we had six players all tied on 33 points. Winner is Tom McHugh (18) from back in form Tommy Fleming (36) and Vincent Ryder (20). PJ Murphy just misses out despite having an eagle 2 on the 17th…
This was the last round ( of 8)in the winter league and the top 10 teams play in next weekend’s SEMI-FINAL where TWO scores will count from each team and the top FIVE teams proceed to the following weekend’s final.

Saturday Club
There was another good turnout for the Saturday Club at Tuam Golf Club last weekend with Bernard Brady winning the competition despite carrying penalty points. He shot 37 points for 14 holes but still won after having three points deducted from his score which was very impressive.
Result (14 holes): 1, Bernard Brady (23) 34; 2, Tom Coen (29) 34; 3, Michael Cullen (15) 33; 4, PJ Murphy (23) 32.

GOATS
The retired members of Tuam Golf Club had another good turnout. Result: (14 holes): 1, Seamus Treacy 39; 2, Joe Rushe, 3, John O’Halloran 34; 4, Sean Doyle 34. Birdies: John O’Halloran, Martin Moroney.

LOTTO
There were no winners of our lotto jackpot worth €1,600 euro. Numbers drawn were 15, 16, 18, 19.
